In a territory for millennia dedicated to the winemaking and oenological culture, Domenico lays the foundations of what will later be the most historic and prestigious winery of the place, with a family tradition that has reached the fourth generation and which has seen the succession of all the oenological changes of the last century.

Montefiascone, in the province of Viterbo, stands on top of the highest hill of the Volsini Mountains, on the southeastern shore of Lake Bolsena.

At 600 m above sea level, in the lands of Alta Tuscia, between Umbria and Tuscany, Montefiascone is located in a strategic position, which, added to the special conformation of the territory, has allowed this small company to establish itself in wine production.

The volcanic origin of Lake Bolsena, the largest of this type in Europe, has in fact made the area particularly fertile thanks to the presence of materials of lava origin.

Since the Middle Ages, Montefiascone, located at km 100 along the ancient route of the Via Francigena, has established itself as a center of great importance and goes through periods of great splendor under papal rule.
